67-69 Camaro Control Arm Bushings

Delrin/Aluminum Upper Control Arm Bushings

The control Arm Bushings are made using CNC equipment to exact tolerances.

The Upper control Arm Bushings consist of two main parts:

1. Outer sleeve;

The outer sleeve is made from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum with grease grooves machined on the inside to promote lubrication. The outer housing is also drilled and tapped to incorporate grease fittings for lubrication. The bushings are then honed to insure a smooth bearing surface. Finally the bushings are anodized for corrosion protection.

2. Inner bushing;

The inner bushing is made from Acetron GP® (Delrin) which was designed to be used as a bearing surface. Acetron GP® has a low Coefficient of Friction of .025, high tensile strength and a high melting point. This low drag provides a smooth bind free motion for the control arm to pivot on as the control arm rotates through its motion.

The control arm bushings come complete with anodized outer aluminum sleeves, inner Acetron GP® bushings, Stainless steel seamless tube, inner and outer Acetron GP® washers and grease fittings to lubricate the control arm bushings.

Basically everything you need to install the bushings on your factory muscle car control arms.

The Lower control Arm Bushings consist of three main parts:

1. Outer sleeve;

The outer sleeve is made from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum with grease grooves machined on the inside to promote lubrication. The outer housing is also drilled and tapped to incorporate grease fittings for lubrication. The bushings are then honed to insure a smooth bearing surface. Finally the bushings are anodized for corrosion protection.

2. Inner bushing;

The inner bushing is made from Acetron GP® (Delrin) which was designed to be used as a bearing surface. 3. Inner tube;

The inner tube is made from 304 seamless stainless steel tubing that fits inside the Acetron GP® bushing. By using Stainless steel over conventional metal or plated metal it eliminates the issue of rust compared to using bare or plated metal as the coating will not wear off.

The control arm bushings come complete with anodized outer aluminum sleeves, inner Acetron GP® bushings, Stainless steel seamless tube, inner and outer Acetron GP® washers and grease fittings to lubricate the control arm bushings.
